Hiya Year 10!
السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
(Peace be unto you and so may the mercy of Allah and His blessings)
Today it was back-to-school day for me and the other Year 10s at my school. So we Year 10s had to assemble at this auditorium at like quarter to 10 a.m. This was pretty much what my day had been like:

Today it was back-to-school day for me and the other Year 10s at my school. So we Year 10s had to assemble at this auditorium at like quarter to 10 a.m. This was pretty much what my day had been like:
- I planned this walk to school with my best friends, M and N. When I got to M's house (her house is the nearest to school so it became kind of like our centre), I was surprised to have met N with a quite big cut on her knee. I asked her the cause of it, and she said that she fell from her sister's bike. Why? Her sister, J, had a lighter bike then N's usual bike so when she turned it didn't really go as she hoped it would be. Anyway, it wasn't that severe. So we carried on our journey to our humongous school.
- We arrived safe and sound ( :P) in front of the auditorium where many many students were chatting, waiting, and some other random stuff. I think all the Year 10s would sum up a total of 500 or so. Not very sure though. I'll update it if I find out. Nini, Mandy and I have already known by that morning that we will be in the same class. The three of us. Our dream came true as the stars shoot through the darkness of the previous night. Nah, just being poetic. How did we know about it? Well the prefect buddies rang all of us to update us about school info. I asked the names of their prefect buddies, which were S and D. We all were similar. So that was how. The others most likely didn't know. Yet.
- I sort of bumped into H and Ab. Two Muslim girls that I knew from a Muslim girls' camp I went to during the holidays. They didn't know other Year 10s. So I made an attempt to befriend them. One was from Iraq and just been here in NZ for a couple of months, while one was a Somalian? African? Who moved to our school. Something like that. So I tried to balance the amount of blah-blahness between them and M&N (I know, sounds like that candy thingy). Thankfully the waiting wasn't very long, since we got there just a teeny weeny bit earlier.
- Speech. Speech. Speech. Encouragement. Names got called. Form classes informed. Blah-blah-blah. << Briefly how the assembly went on.
- Last year, we got a beautiful class at the corner near the auditorium. Now? Way further back. In the same building as the second gymnasium. The room was named PE3. Great, I love PE. Not. Well PE's not that bad but I'm simply bad at it. Enough said. Anyway, it's just the room. No big deal, Anis.
- The classmates? Exactly the same as last year's with the exception of two boys and a girl. Mi, B, and E. Oh well. At least I'm still with M&N. What I didn't really like was that I'm first on the roll. Again. But I'll have to sit beside the new girl in assembly this year. Which could be counted as a pro, not a con, I guess. She seemed nice and cheerful. She smiles with her teeth shown almost all the time. :D << Like this only with more details and teeth. Weird? I don't know.
- The form teacher was nice and likes to joke. The prefect buddies were friendly and both of them were good-looking. No wonder the tall and slim girl works as a model. She didn't tell me that but before, I saw her photo shoots on a modelling page. She looked like a real life doll. And her last name was something that sounds like doll. Hahaha. Very co-incidental.
- We played drama games like intros and 'bang'. It was OK.
- So we didn't have any lessons.
- We went home.
- Now I'm here tapping away on the keyboard.
Okay, this post is pretty boring. I apologise. It's just that I have a resolution to update the blog as much as I can.
Anyway, we're gonna have like an outdoor education event. Kind of like a bond? Yeah. Gonna have to wear yellow. I'm not much of a yellow person. :/
