Branches of Science and The Famous Scientists

Carrying out experiments
Science is really interesting and fun! Especially when carrying out experiments and such! Here I include some branches of science:

  • Zoologist : Studies the biology of animal life, including the physiology, development and classification of animals.
  • Palaeontologist : Studies palaeontology (the study of fossils, the remains of once-living organisms which are preserved in the sedimentary rock record. For an example, dinosaurs.)
  • Microbiologist : A scientist who studies organisms called microbes. Microbes can take the form of bacteria, viruses or fungi.
  • Etymologist : Studies the history of words, including language, derivation, form and changes.
  • Entomologist : Studies and researches insects.
  • Cardiovascular surgeon : A specially trained medical professional who performs operations on the heart and blood vessels.
  • Oceanographer : Studies the chemical, physical, geologic, meteorological or biological featurs of the ocean.
  • Dietician : A professional who provides scientifically based, objective nutritional information on proper diet and nutrition.
  • Ballistics engineer : Provides expertise in analysis, design, and testing in the areas of ballistics and explosion loading.
  • Seismologist : Studies the science of earthquakes and their phenomena.
  • Physiotherapist : Treats patients with physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury, disability and aging.
  • Opthalmologist : An eye M.D. , is a medical doctor or doctor of esteopathy, who specializes in eye conditions.
  • Radiographer : Also known as radiologic technologist, Xrays various parts of body.
